It’s Wednesday evening and Megan Reis can’t remember when she last saw her husband Chris. Small wonder. Since Sunday wee hours, Meg has worked more than 60 hours at Advocate Hope Children’s Hospital, the Chicago-area facility where she is training in pediatrics.

    Chris and Meg face many of the problems similar to other medical students. The article stressed that the to be doctors had a potential to earn a great deal of money when they finish their residencies, but many people do not realize that doctors have to pay a high malpractice insurance that really is astronomical. Many doctors have been moving to states that have lower premiums for malpractice insurance just to keep their head above the water.
