What are the benefits of a credit line?

Dear FSB: Eight months ago, I started a shield company selling closed-circuit television, access control and alarms. So far, I have not been able to secure any kinds of loans or major credit cards. A few of my friends who work in finance are constantly telling me to inquiry a bank credit line. I’m very much opposed to that. Other than flexible cash flow or availability of funds, what are the benefits of a line of credit?
