Live chat: your new online salesperson

A year or two ago, it looked like instant messaging and other forms of online chat had reached their full potential as a business tool. Millions of society were using IM to interact with corporate colleagues. Live chat had additionally become a fixture on websites, giving customers a way to inquire about products and receive answers in real date.

I find that websites that contain Live Chat or similar scripts are more user friendly. I would much rather talk to a sales person on Live Chat than talk to them on the telephone.
I knew that such scripts are helpful to web businesses, but I never really thought about it helping the business that significantly as it did in the business described in the article. I think I will check into a similar tool for my website.

I really like live messenger chat for tech support. There have been times that I have really needed to speak to somebody on a problem. Most sites have a toll free number where you end up waiting on hold for long periods of time. Live chat solves this problem. I have never had any wait when using live chat.
