I have been in that group at one point of time and paid heavy price for my credit dues owing to my carelessness towards repaying my debts .Now I try to clear off the debts within the grace period itself , but more importantly , I try to keep the credit card away when I go shopping. I am a little wiser financially speaking. I make a list whenever we shop and carry cash instead of the plastic . I try hard to keep all my expenditures below the credit limit whenever I use the credit card and so far it’s been working well.
